About Thomas Aviation
Thomas Aviation is a well-established Aviation Company founded in 2009 by Troy Thomas.
Primary operations are Flight Training, Joy Flights & Charter, however Thomas Aviation also specialises in other flight operations such as aerial Dog Baiting and Aerial Survey/Photography, as well as Fire Spotting and many other roles for the NSW Rural Fire Service.
Thomas Aviation employs full time instructors in Dubbo and Orange to provide training for all pilot licences up to the Commercial Pilot Licence (CPL) level. Manual Pitch Propeller Control, Retractable Undercarriage and Tailwheel Undercarriage endorsements can be obtained, as well as Night VFR ratings. Practical testing for CASA licences and ratings is conducted in house by Chief Pilot Troy Thomas and our team of instructors can issue endorsements and conduct Biannual Flight Reviews.
Our experienced pilots are available for private charter in our well maintained fleet. Charter our Piper Navajo for up to 7, travel in comfort in our Cessna 182 for up to 3, or our Piper Warriors are also available for 1-2 people. No job is too big or small!
